What You'll Do as a Business Development Officer, you'll:
Fuel Growth: Originate SBA loans, equipment leasing, and
Asset-Based Lending (ABL) solutions tailored for small businesses
across the country.
Be the Connector: Build and nurture strong relationships with
customers and brokers who share your passion for supporting small
business owners.
Network Like a Pro: Leverage your networking skills and referral
channels to uncover opportunities and connect with small business
borrowers.
Expand Our Reach: Pioneer market expansion strategies to deepen our
presence in your assigned locations.
Inspire Confidence: Advocate for our entrepreneurial lending
philosophy and demonstrate how we can fulfill the unique needs of
small business owners.
Strategize to Win: Collaborate with senior leadership to craft
compelling marketing and sales strategies that make an impact.
Close the Deal: Take the lead in generating leads, submitting loan
applications, presenting to Credit Committees, and securing funding
commitments.
Exceed Expectations: Meet and surpass annual production goals while
leveraging tools like Salesforce to maximize deal flow.
What We're Looking For:
Experience & Expertise: You hold a bachelor's degree (or
equivalent) and bring 5+ years of sales experience in financial
services, with a strong focus on SBA loans.
A Track Record of Excellence: Proven ability to achieve $20MM+ in
annual sales production over the last three years.
Skills That Shine: Exceptional credit and commercial lending
skills, a knack for financial analysis, and a deep understanding of
the SBA Loan Program.
Relationship-Building Extraordinaire: Outstanding interpersonal,
verbal, and written communication skills, coupled with a robust
referral network.
A Visionary Marketer: Experience in marketing and risk management,
with a strategic mindset to identify and seize opportunities.
A Champion for Small Business: Passion for supporting the financial
growth of small business owners nationwide.
