Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Chef de Partie to join our team at VENETO Ristorante Italiano. As a
key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for
preparing and cooking high-quality Italian dishes to our
guests.Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Italian dishes, including pasta,
seafood, and meat dishes.
- Work closely with our chefs to ensure that all dishes are
prepared to the highest standards.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the
kitchen.
- Transport supplies and stock to designated areas.
- Start prep work on items needed for the shift.
- Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides.
- Ensure all requisitions are processed properly and placed in
designated areas.
- Properly label and date all products to ensure safekeeping and
sanitation.
- Meet with chefs to review assignments, anticipated business
levels, changes, and other information pertinent to job
performance.
- Complete opening duties such as setting up workstation with
required place, tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Inspect the cleanliness and working condition of all tools,
equipment, and supplies.
- Check production schedule and pars, establish priority items,
inform chefs of supplies needing purchasing for day's tasks.
- Prep work after meal period for next meal service.
- Perform all other job-related duties as requested.Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a fine dining restaurant with
similar service, guest relations, and operational standards.
- Valid Food Handlers certification.
- Obsessive attention to details.
- An appetite for providing exceptional, memorable
hospitality.
- Full and open availability to work days, nights, and
weekends.
- Excellent emotional self-awareness, with a clear understanding
of guest and team boundaries.
- Ability to stay calm, professional, and solve problems when
under pressure.
- Ability to work well on a team and receptive to feedback and
coaching.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 40+ lbs.
- Professional appearance and grooming standards appropriate for
a premier fine dining restaurant.
