Medical Coding Manager

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Manager, Medical Coding in Payment Integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team reviewing clinical information and ensuring appropriate medical coding
Analyze and manipulate databases related to diagnosis-related group (DRG) assignments
Collaborate with other departments and conduct meetings to discuss operational initiatives

Required Qualifications

Minimum of an Associate's Degree
5+ years of experience in medical auditing & coding, focusing on MS-DRG & APR-DRG
2+ years of management experience in a matrixed operational setting
RHIA, RHIT, and/or CCS Certification
Experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI
